Highland Photography is nestled in the heart of the Cedar Valley in beautiful Tipton, Iowa. Owner, Bill Highland purchased the existing studio at it's present location on April 1st, 2002. Although the studio has been open here for only a short time, his experience and expertise goes back over 30 years! We are very proud to be a Christian owned business! We specialize in high quality portraits at a very affordable price. Customer service is one of our top priorities. We specialize mostly in weddings, high school seniors, families, children, dance and sports photography.

Bill Highland - Owner/Photographer

If you should choose to use Highland Photography, you will have the opportunity to be photographed by studio owner and photographer, Bill Highland. He has been in the photography business for over 30 years, has worked in many aspects of the business, worked for other studios and also owned his own studio in Boone, Iowa for 11 years before purchasing the studio in Tipton in April of 2002. He has been recognized nationally for his photography and his marketing techniques.

Once you have met him and have been photographed by him, you will realize what many others have.......that Bill photographs in a style all his own! He uses humor to obtain the smiles and look that you are wanting. He also works hard with you to obtain the type of portrait results that you are looking for.

Not only does Bill understand the camera, lighting and posing in the camera room, he also has become quite an expert in the use of new and innovative PhotoShop techniques. Just look in any of the galleries to see some of his wonderful work!

As Bill always says, "My sessions are a team effort! We work together with all involved to obtain the results my clients are looking for. If they have their own ideas, then just tell me and I will do whatever I can to obtain them, otherwise, I'll just do what I do best.....and that's be creative!"

Bill has two wonderful sons, Austin & Mason, whom are two of his favorite subjects to photograph!
